About the event
Come out to the 9th Annual Rome Shakespeare Festival from June 13th to 16th and 20th to 23rd at Rome's Town Green. We've got two great shows for you: The (Real) Merry (House)Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare, a laugh-out-loud comedy set in The Real Housewives world, and A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams, a powerful drama set in 1940's New Orleans. This is a free event in a public park, so bring your picnic blanket or camping chairs! Table seating is available for purchase, as well.
Get there early at 6:30 PM to enjoy the vibe before the shows start promptly at 7:30 PM. It's a fantastic opportunity to see quality professional theater right here in Rome, Georgia.
